Digital MicroscopeMotic is one of the first microscope manufacturers who started to develop digital microscopy solutions, digital imaging products and application software. This new development in microscopy has lead to a complete range of digital microscopes, digital cameras and software for all types of applications. Our range includes CMOS and CCD cameras with different chip sizes and resolution.

About N.I.S.T. Traceable CalibrationWecan provide certificates of calibration withtraceability (National Institute of Standards and Technology) on our line of stage micrometers and eyepiecereticles, as well as for Customer-supplied stage micrometers andreticles.Bycalibration, we mean that after the part is manufactured it ismeasured with a precision piece of equipment that has itselfbeen calibrated with a N.I.S.T. Traceable test standard.
Thesemeasurement results are then provided with the part on aCertificate Of Calibration. TheCalibration Department is accredited to ISO/IEC.PRICINGSome of the areoffered as standard products in a calibrated version with alldivision lines calibrated, so please refer to the individual part number for pricing. For all others, and for Customer-supplied products, the cost is $39.50 per point, 10 point ($395.00) minimum.CALIBRATION POINTSA 'point' isdefined as one measurable dimension.
For example, if you had a 1mmscale with sub-divisions every 0.1mm, and you wanted everydivision line to be calibrated, it would consist of 10calibration points (0 0.1mm, 0 0.2mm, etc.). You could also specify different points. For example 0.1mm 0.2mm or 0.1mm 0.8mm, etc. If specific points are not requested the calibration will be spread evenly across the scale.

Circle/dot/aperture style features count as two points.CERTIFICATE OF CALIBRATIONAfter calibration, the stage micrometer or reticle is shippedwith a Certificate of Calibration showing the actual dimensionsmeasured, calibration equipment used, calibration equipmentaccuracy, environmental conditions, N.I.S.T. Traceable test number and certificate serial no. Thisserial no. Is also engraved into the glass of the stagemicrometer. The certificate will state that the CalibrationDepartment is accredited to ISO/IEC, and meets theGeneral requirements for the competence of testing andcalibration laboratories.ACCURACYThe manufacturing accuracy specification of the chrome pattern on our micrometers is +/- 0.0002' (+/- 0.005mm)end-to-end. If calibration is purchased, the calibrationequipment used has an overall accuracy of +/- 0.00002' (+/- 0.0005mm)with a total estimated uncertainty of +/- 0.00003' (+/- 0.0007mm).
